DoD Training Center (DoDTC) is excited to announce the addition of a 2 day Insider Threat Program Management course. According to John Kauffman, V.P. of Business Development, “This additional offering enhances our full suite of Cyber Security and IT Training classes to better address data breaches.”
The partnership was announced in response to the high volume of continued data breaches perpetrated by Cyber Criminals and Malicious Insiders. This class was designed to address the knowledge and core skill-sets an individual will need to develop, manage or support an organizations Insider Threat Program (ITP). This course will ensure the ITP Manager and others who support the ITP, understand their roles and responsibilities for developing and managing an ITP and ITP Working Group. This training is also very well suited for any business that is not required to implement an ITP, but is looking to develop or enhance their ITP, or is concerned with Employee.
This proprietary course designed by Jim Henderson the CEO of of Insider Threat Defense has been well received by over 500 organizations and 600+ security professionals. Insider Threat Defense training and risk management services go beyond traditional compliance regulations; National Insider Threat Policy, NISPOM Conforming Change, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST), Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (GLBA), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Etc.), These compliance regulations are very weak in the area of Insider Threat Risk Mitigation.
DoDTC has entered into an exclusive arrangement to market and deliver the training at our Facility in Columbia MD as well as live online. The Insider Threat Program Development course developed by Mr. Henderson has become the “Leader-Go To Company” and our central location to the intelligence community will open up more opportunities for agencies and organizations to improve on their Risk Management posture as well as comply with Federal regulations.
